Skiing in Les Gets

The pistes of Les Gets

A beautiful part of the Portes Du Soleil - epic tree lined runs, a giant bowl of reds/blues and blacks to keep you occupied all day and some great wide blue pistes for the more novice/intermediate.

A village in its own right, Les Gets has a great apres-ski atmosphere and it is entirely possible to miss the last chairlift home and jump on the bus back to Morzine, it has been known to happen on several occasions! The top of the bubble lift sees some great service and self service eating spots - just head for where looks liveliest!

Les Gets - Morzine Ski Links

Hot air Balloons over Les Gets

Les Gets is linked to Morzine in two ways - via the golf course (only a golf course in the summer - it's a long, flat bumpy blue and is murder on the thighs!) and down from the Ranfoilly into Chamoissiere. I'd go the latter after a long day, it's mainly blue all the way after the Ranfoilly, cruising into the Nyon area and onwards down the mountain right to the door to one of the great bars on Morzine's Route de Telephonique!

Of course you will have your walking, talking piste map with you (that would be me) and I can guide you around so you are not having to do the dreaded stopping to get out the pistemap. I will point out all the runs, their names, where they link into and what colour/difficulty they are. A lot of the runs are marked as red but are as easy as some blues, some blues are rather narrow and need a bit of confidence - and so on. And I will always make sure you know how to get home.
